Newborn – Charlie Eli Vanhoy

You may remember the sweet Vanhoy’s from their family session and David’s special tribute portraits I did a while back. Well, they added another adorable boy to their family. Big brother Ryan was sure to help me capture these sweet moments with his personal camera. You’ll also notice some personal items we incorporated into the session such as a colorful quilt, some cowboy boots, a police uniform and collared shirt teddy bear. Scroll all the way through for more details.
Loved Charlie’s room! David hand stained and nailed each board to one wall in the room. It was so striking!
Paula Barringer who owns Alley Quilts in Shelby, NC is the wife of a surgeon that Kellie works with. She made this beautiful quilt for Charlie.
This collared shirt teddy bear was made by hospice after David’s dad passed.
Charlie is featured here wrapped up in his grandfather’s Chief Police jacket. You’ll also see a wall that  Kellie put together that features David and his firefighter accomplishments and his father’s police badges. His father was Chief of police in Cornelius and Shelby before he passed away.
And one more adorable shot is of Charlie sleeping on his grandfather’s boots.
