Concord, NC Country Engagement Session
Let me begin by saying this post comes at a bittersweet time for this couple. Kara is a flight attendant and travels often for her job and that’s hard enough on a relationship. In addition to that, Travis is in the United States Army and heading off for training today for a month. Then these two will have a chance to say their final goodbyes in July when Travis is being deployed for a year and then will return for their wedding day in September of next year. I don’t know how these couples do it, but I admire their commitment!! Since Travis is a country boy we opted to have their session at what better place than a farm. The Farm at Brusharbor in Concord, NC is where they will also be tying the knot next year and it always provides an absolutely stunning backdrop for my couples.
Travis wanted to incorporate his truck into this country engagement session. We had plans to do some mudding shots, but the weather just didn’t give us enough rain to make it happen. Instead we did some stunning pictures of them all cuddled up in the bed of the truck, which is something they do often on a date night. One shot in particular I risked my 8 month pregnant self by climbing on top of my car to get an overhead shot of them, but as you will see it was completely worth it! You’ll also see some patriotic shots of them two with the American flag. The lighting was absolutely perfect during this entire session. Thanks again for making my job easy, and more importantly, thanks for making it enjoyable!
