Downtown Concord Family Session
Meet the Fillmers! I have personally knows Joe and Tina and their wonderful daughters Olivia and Mariah for nearly 7 years now. You can imagine how different they looked as a family 7 years ago. Olivia was 11 and Mariah was 10! Now Olivia is heading off to college while Mariah finishes her senior year of high school. Of course not everything has changed. Tina looks pretty much exactly like she did and Joe may have added a wrinkle or two but you’d have to be told they were a couple sending a child off to college because you wouldn’t know it by looking at them! Anyway, as you can imagine, with all these life changes Tina thought they’d better get some family portraits done; good call Tina. We headed to downtown Concord and I kept it really simple. The Fillmers interact so naturally together as a family and so normally in front of the camera, that my goal was just to capture that on film. I really enjoyed the sisters shots because I remember when my sisters went off to college and what it meant to me. I wish I had some pictures to recall the moment more clearly so I’m really glad they’ll always have these photos to look back on. It’s holding that moment before things change. I’m sure they’ll have plenty more special moments in the future and I hope they invite me to be a part of them again. Thanks again for making my job easy, and more importantly, thanks for making it enjoyable!
