Meet Carter Benjamin Hudson! This little guy is the new pride and joy of Jeff and Lisa Hudson. For those of you that don’t know, I send a questionnaire out to all my clients to get a feel for their interests and how to best capture who they are as a family. Lisa provided one of the best responses when asked what kinds of baby photos she loves; “milk drunk”. Don’t worry momma, we definitely got some of those in this session. A few more neat little things that stood out was the handmade blanket featured in the first photo provided by the super friendly and personable “Mimi” and the signed, personalized buoy from the baby shower that perfectly fits into the nautically themed nursery that illustrates the love and support for this family. Perusing through these photos of the cozy sleeping baby has a calming effect. It’s always interesting to me to think about what the blog readers don’t see behind the scenes. Sometimes, it takes a lot of time and patience to get just the right shot. In this instance, I’d like to give a big shout out to Jeff who patiently held Carter for quite some time with a heater on him in order to soothe his sweet boy and to Lisa, who caught a messy poop in her hands during a pose. She stayed that way until we captured the shot, which I believe is the second to last one on this post. They all did a wonderful job in helping me make this session a success.
