I used to say I was not cut out for blogging, although I enjoyed looking at others’ blogs, I didn’t have a desire in the least to have a blog. Things have changed and I now see the benefit and enjoyment in having a blog. So without further a due here is my blog. My vision for this blog is to show others what I see behind the lens while working as a portrait and wedding photographer.
Another new beginning is my life with my sweet daughter, Adelai Emerson Fink. She was born on August 10, 2011 at 1:12am. She weighed in at 7 lbs. even and 21 inches. Delivering her was definitely the hardest thing I’ve ever had to experience, but well worth it!

This first image my husband and I had an argument over. What you do not see is in this image is Jesse sitting below with his hands out ready to catch our child in case the ropes came loose off the tree. This basket was only three feet off the ground and I had tested the basket with hand weights heavier than Adelai to make sure it was safe and secure, but the husband still didn’t like the idea of this shot. I don’t blame him though, it’s risky business hanging your newborn in a tree.
