Family – The Newkirk's Extended Family

Can I begin by saying this is one of the sweetest families I’ve met! This extended family session consisted of five families with four generations present, ranging from age 1.5 years to 99 years!
Juan (99) and Elsa (88) Garcia are Zaida’s parents.
Wayne and Zaida Newkirk
Kelly and Ryan (16) Phillips
Krisse Jones and Jim Welan
John, Dawn, Atticus (4) and Levon (1.5)
(Dawn and I know each other from school. She and my sisters went to high school together.)
This session was shot on one of those pouring rain day we had a couple weeks back. The Newkirk’s had a beautiful home and boat house for us to utilize for a covered outdoor location. Thank you all for a fun shoot and it was such a pleasure meeting you.
Zaida and her parents.
These two sweeties are 99 and 88 years of age and still in love!
Here we have the beautiful sisters. Kelly, Dawn, and Krisse. I just LOVE some of these images!
This next couple are newly engaged. Here are Jim and Krisse.

I liked how these next images turned out using the umbrella with Kelly and her son Ryan.
This next image gets me as I just added a young little boy into our family. It makes me realize how quickly he will grow up!
Here we have the handsome Ryan and Wayne.
The Morgan family could not be any cuter. And can I say I absolutely love Dawn’s style! Makes me want to cut some bangs and try wearing killer red lipstick.
Atticus loves his buddy Ryan.
I’m in love with these next few images as well! We had the session at these lovely folks home, which was so gorgeous.
It was raining so much it almost looks like snow in the black and white images.
A mom and her daughters. I need to do a session with my mom and sisters now, because these next several images are just precious.
This amazing boat house/dock on Wayne and Zaida’s property was just perfect for this family session during all the rain.
As I was leaving I saw the Morgan family’s dog, Kooba and just had to snap a few pics. Old and blind little pup, but oh so cute. I love me some dogs.
